The Challenge

## What the Building Needed

A screw compressor seized during a July heatwave, taking out half the chilled water capacity for patient care areas. The hospital needed temporary cooling within hours and a permanent fix within days.

Our Approach

## How We Did It

1.  01 Dispatched a chiller crew in under three hours and confirmed compressor failure by oil and vibration analysis.
2.  02 Staged a trailer-mounted temporary chiller at the loading dock and tied it into the chilled water loop the same day.
3.  03 Rebuilt the compressor with new rotors, bearings and seals, following the hospital infection control and access rules.
4.  04 Restarted, load tested and documented the machine before removing temporary cooling.

Results
